I'm sure you can empathize...
Last year I was in the market to buy a home as an investment. Through a series of events I found myself with about $120,000 in cash and didn't want to watch it lose purchasing power every day.
So in I went to buy another home. I made the mistake of telling the bank how much I had to bring to the table and they structured the loan against that amount. But wait! There were other expenses I had to pay for that were not part of the loan! Holy moly, how to come up with that kind of cash (around $12k)?
Enter the credit card. Yes, I did it. Idiot maneuver, but alas, we can all learn from our mistakes.
Well today I paid it off and am free & clear! Thank God for giving me the discipline and endurance to clear this obstacle in time before the financial collapse!
